  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy for Anxiety, Stress, Relationship Challenges, Burnout, and Life Transitions

Based in Alexandria, VA – Providing online therapy for adults throughout Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland.

Culturally sensitive and affirming therapy focusing on mindfulness and growth.

Welcome to the next step on your healing journey!

You may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, sad mood, or a major life transition. Therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

I provide mindfulness-based, culturally sensitive therapy for adults in Alexandria, Virginia, and online throughout Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

Using a non-judgmental, supportive, and nurturing therapy environment, you can gain insight and practice self-compassion in processing anxiety, life transitions, family dynamics, break ups, friend struggles, low self-esteem, and stress. With a renewed sense of self, clients can develop the space and energy to lead healthier, more aligned lives.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. The success of the therapeutic process with clients depends on the quality of the relationship that we build. My ideal client is committed to growing more self-compassion and building a deeper connection to themselves and others.

    About Harumi Sanchez-Yoza

    Hi! I’m Harumi.

As a psychotherapist, I use a trauma informed, person-affirming approach to help others embrace their true selves and their light within.  I strive to embody unconditional positive regard and respect in every session I provide.

I enjoy having meaningful conversation with clients about their life experiences, transitions, childhood, relationships, fears, dreams, and goal-setting.  Person-centered therapy is at the foundation of my work.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me on a meditation cushion, practicing yoga, volunteering, listening to podcasts, and dabbling in spirituality.
